Paul Richardson - Singer, Songwriter, Record Producer

Bio

Paul Rich known monogamously as C Note-P, is a singer, songwriter and record producer born and raised on the south side of Chicago, Illinois. He has performed in many talent shows in High School and in many community events throughout his early childhood. Paul was first exposed to singing when he was only 11 years old. His idol has always been Michael Jackson. Paul has also performed in family groups growing up however it wasn’t until him and his family and friends decided to form the group Porche' in 1991. 

Porche' went to Washington DC in 1993 where they was discovered by DJ Eddie for Untouchables Ent/ Laface Records. Porche' signed to Laface Records the same year. Porche' recorded a compilation with Intro, Changing Faces, 2pac, the Notorious Big, Heavy D, and Grand Puba. Paul recently reunited with his Former Group “Porche” with Steve Taylor, Gregory Tobar and Donell Jones on Donell Jones’s TV One Unsung Episde. 

Paul also was apart of a group called "GradSchool" an inspirational hip hop gospel group which was formed in 2008 to 2010. Members of this group were C Note-P(Paul), Red Storm(HBO Def Jam Poetry)Koop, and Spree Israel. GradSchool recorded many songs together. They released their first album called A New Beginning which caught the eyes of many people including Chicago Radio stations WGCI 107.5, Power 92.3, WKKC 89.3 and WYCA 106.3 for the tribute song to little Mya, Stomp and There's A Star. Gradschool performed at various events including the Apollo in 2009, Chicago Football Classic, Black Women Expo, The Bud-Billiken Parade, The Dallas Texas Music Convention spon- sored by Avery Johnson dealership and Radio Station 106.3 Darryl King.

Paul Rich went on to working as a solo artist continuing to perfect his writing and singing skills. In 2005 Paul teamed up with Anthony Rance C.E.O. Of Ghetto Heaven Records and begin to travel to other cities to perform and distributing new music. Checkout Paul Rich hot new single “ SLOW GROOVING” a new release from Lil Duck Music.
